Welcome to Leona's Corner
Leona Dewalt has been the Alumni Association's Historian for a number of years. She has volunteered many, many hours maintaining our Class Scrap Books for every class that has graduated from Montgomery Area High School since 1905.

Highlights of 2001 Banquet on June 9, 2001
It was a beautiful evening for the celebration of 96 years of graduates with 255 members and guests present. The oldest living graduate is Dorothy Fowler Strouse, Class of 1922.
The 50th Class reunion (1951) celebrated with 19 members present and they presented a gift of $1951 for the Golden Anniversary Scholarship Fund.
The 25th Class reunion (1976) celebrated with 16 members present and they presented a gift of $568.73 for the Scholarship Fund.
Mrs. Edna Fox was made an honorary member for the years she has served as a volunteer aid for the Montgomery Schools.

During the orchestra's intermission at the Alumni Dance, following the dinner, Richard Decker (class of 1976) entertained everyone with his rendition of "Maria" from "West Side Story". Rick is an opera singer in Germany and was home for his 25th reunion. His son and his father, Gayle Decker (class of 1948) were also present.
